The state budget has exploded and it is still not enough and no matter how much money we send to Baton Rouge it will never be enough for them to waste and steal.

Because the massive protests at the first round of budget cuts and the continuing protests and letter writing campaigns have done no good at all. Because we have a narcissistic, delusional tyrant of a governor and a legislature full of lackeys and sycophants. Because he’s filled the governing boards of higher education with even more lackeys and sycophants. Because it’s taken this many years to get even the names of the four finalists for President/Chancellor.

Because the good people of Louisiana clearly demonstrated their lack of concern and their disregard for higher education by re-electing this governor and legislature. Because 28% of the state still support him.
